My computer:
Gigabyte k8nf-9, a64 3000+ 939oced to 2.1ghz, 1 gig RAM and a x600xt 256 megs video card.
My Aquamark score: GFX 3807, CPU9988 and 31990 aquamarks
My friend (my old) system:
Soltek k8an2e-gr, a64 3000+ 754 stock speed, 512 megs RAM and AIW 9600xt 128 megs video card.
his Aquamark:GFX 4179, cpu 8866 and 33814.
Is the 128 megs more RAM kill that much performance in that test?
My 3dmark05: 1821, his: 1636
Is the 128 megs RAM more help my case in that test?? or if there is something I dont get?
We can see the the 100MHZ and the 5-7% advantage from dual channel more give an edge to my cpu, but the video card loose to the old AIW9600xt...
Any idea? I'm not dissapointed about my score, as my computer is plenty fast for what I do, but I did not expect that!
