It's supposed to do that, to stop it, go into control panel --> hardware and sound --> autoplay

Switch off what you don't want to autostart.

I normally switch off everything as a security precaution.

Well I checked the auto play and everything is set to request if I want to autoplay. What next. This is starting to bug me!
