Hey I have my old pc which is an AMD 2600XP 512RAM...
I was wondering, which card of these 2 is the faster one.
Espacialy for Counter Strike Source :)

Thanks

Yeah, it all depends on price, and wether or not you "mess" with your hardware. If you plan on just using it at stock speeds, then I'd go with the cheaper one, most likely the 9600 pro at $83. Both cards would perform similarly at stock speeds, both can overclock well, but IF you get a successful unlock to 8 pipes, then the 6200 is a killer card. Wow...I'd go with the 6200! Well actually, I would save more and spring for a 6600GT, then you are guranteed the performance and then some probably.

Is there a benchmark which showes these two cards performance?
And the specs of the 6200 300Mhz GPU and 500Mhz Memory.
Where the 9600 pro comes with 400Mhz GPU and 600Mhz Memory.
Isnt the 9600 pro should be stronger ?

Another thing. I saw A Sephire Radeon 9600XT with its memory clocked to 650MHz, which is 50Mhz faster than other 9600XT's and it cost 113$. Can I get in this price (NOT HIGHER) something which is better than the 9600xt ???

Architecture my friend, clock speeds means little.

I'd recommend a 9800pro if you don't feel like soft-modding, and if you can shell out about 40 dollars more than the 9600XT. It'll outperform any of the 3 cards(6200/9600pro/9600xt).

$120 for a Radeon 9700 pro would be alot of extra performance for $20 extra cost compared to a 9600XT. What a bargain.
