Okay, but copying and pasting the questions and then answering all the ones you can answer would be the only way to get the best assistance we can give. If you can't answer them all, then answer the ones you can. Following the rules is the only way you'll get worthwhile help, especially if you're new.

The most bang for the buck, get the Samsung out of those 3. I'm not terribly familiar with where to buy laptops online in the UK but that one, to me, seems like a killer deal for what's in it. The size isn't quite up to the 17" you wanted but it'll be easier to carry around and have slightly better battery life.

You won't ever get anywhere near 8 hours out of a gaming laptop, that's just wishful thinking. All of those should get you 4 hours of light use, meaning brightness turned down and no gaming, but that's about it.

http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/2851/

Configure it like this :

Processor: i5 3210m
RAM: 8GB SAMSUNG 1600mhz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY ( 2 x 4 GB)
Memory - Hard disk: 500GB Serial ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE(5,400RPM)

Everything else default

Price with Tax is 704 pounds, if you HAVE to get below 700 pounds you can either downgrade to 4GB ram(not recommended), downgrade to i3 3110m(not recommended either) or downgrade to a 250GB Hard drive(my personal choice)

and if it has to be 17.3 inches then here's a 17.3" version
