I am running XP Home and plan to install a new Avg video card. Can I just take the old one out pop the new one in and then install the drivers with out no problems. Thanks Bruce

And if its not asking to much, run a driver cleaner! lol

Depends on type/brand of card, version of driver allready installed.

Ie. If your installing a new card of the same brand - Nvidia for example, and you allready have the new/current driver installed running the previous card, all you have to do is(there's many ways to do it) device manager - remove graphic adapter and shut down.

Then take out previous card and install new and reboot.

Thanks I did go to device manager and remove the card and shut down. Install went great. Thanks for the advice
