Folks,

looking for a good way to clone multiiple PCs from a usb stick . We get in Windows 7 machines with a standard dell win7 image and I want to build one PC with all our standard software and clone it to the rest of the new machines rather than having to install all the extra sofware on each individual machine which takes ages ., If I could clone it to USB and then build the rest from this clone would save me a lot of time .
Thanks in advance ...

At work we have a server that holds all of our Windows images. Then on the machine we want to image, we boot into a Pre Installation environment from flash drives, select which image to install and walk away. Not sure if that is going overboard or not but for more info you can check out http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc771670(v=ws.10).aspx

^this is a MUCH better way than using clonezilla, or any simple local imaging software.
