HOW DO I CONNECT TO INTERNET EXPLORER IN WINDOWS 7

Hello,
I have a broadband internet connection from verizon which i have installed ok. However it will not activate and i cannot find anywhere in windows 7 to check the connection settings in windows 7 in interenet explorer properties. I have checed several places and have been able to find what the connection properties are and see if they are set correctly. could someone please tell me where to find the information in windows seven internet explorer. Thanks

You could be looking for the Tools menu then Internet Options. Click on the Connection tab and then on the LAN button to make sure there's a tick in "Automatically detect settings".

You may be better off calling support for Verizon on this. By default your I.E. should connect to an open network like what your ISP would provide.
