I've been trying to use Flask MPEG to encode MPEG-4 video files. I've been trying different methods to find the best results. When I finish the output file, I notice that during playback of the file, the audio doesn't quite match up with the video. Sometimes it is quite bad. Does anyone know what might cause this? Do any power saving settings such as the monitor going on standby affect this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Stuart Carroll
What sound are you coding to? Always use 48k, do not use 44k. Also mp3 is the best, don't use divx sound. For more info check out http://www.doom9.net.
Please direct further questions to the Video Editing section.
When you are ready to out grow Flask let me know and I'll help you with Fair Use. While you are learning Flask is the way to go.
