ATI's R520 delayed until autumn as mentioned in the INQ, this was simply expected of ATI.

There's simply nothing to push them to release it.

Like I said before, there's little compelling to push to the next generation, the only thing remotely pushing them to release a new core is SLi and if they release AMR then they'll have something for that.

If there had been more emphasis on SM3.0 by now or the X800s and X850 weren't selling, then there likely would've been a new card, but without that it's a marketing choice not to release anything new, just like all the other decisions that $crew us!

Yes it makes sense, just stinks to wait. I have no plans to buy one, but there is this need to get the full specs and then the performance reviews. I'm getting bored again with the lack of new releases/info/or quality reviews lately in GPU's. Either there are none, or I am missing them. Keep informing Grape, i count on you to cover the European/Asian sites.
