Gday all,
Should Microsoft be sued again for the XP O/S ,or should it be allowed to have it's way again.
What are your views (XP testers especially)?

I'm still not exactly sure why MS should even be sued over XP. It's looking to be a piece of crap that no one really wants, but that's no reason to sue MS over it. Just don't buy it. Heh heh.

Why,
Because they've got a license to print money and make Gates the richest man on the planet. To use their OS'es without IE installed makes it pretty hard to near impossible to use a lot of programs.I've heard that the even tighter integration in XP will give consumers even less choice. How can this be good for competition. And even more importantly performance ,I use Opera instead of IE ,it shits on Gate's browser ,in all aspects - stability, speed, and features.

They're slowly moving towards the .net look and feel. Changing, hotmail and everything, so everything looks "integrated".

I still don't see anything wrong with integrating one software package with another when they're both made by the same company. Every software company that I know does this. It'd be absurd to force them not to.

That aside, so long as your Opera surfs the net just fine in the WinXP OS, what difference does it make if Word uses IE?
