Sad, but I got a super good deal (at least in singapore you cannot get a R9800XT for SGD299)

GeCube R9800XT 128MB DDR ram, speeds at C400/M700 factory.
A Sapphire R9800Pro cost SGD300 bucks, was wanting to get the 6600GT, but ended up i couldn't resist the 299 deal of the r9800xt... BGA ram modules, checked to see did i get a sour deal but yeah i got the real thing rivatuner retrived with the correct results.

Hehe, it's unfortunate people outside of the US have to put up those kinds of prices huh? Trust me, Canada's not great either.

Congrats!

That's only about $181 USD. I didn't find one in the states for that price.

Bwhahaha... Anyway, how do you know that your card is using good capacitors? Anybody knows?

After my fiasco with my previous PowerColour card, I really don't dare to OC the R9800XT card anymore. Feels really good to be using a decent card again, My Geforce 4 MX440 finally can rest after serious OCing. (The GF4 is free barf.)

The GeCube comes already with pure copper hsf covering the entire top part of the card, and uniwise fan, cooling on both sides, (it's really very heavy, the thickness of the copper heat plate below the card cooling the back is around 1cm...)

My overdrive tab reads 67 C when in windows... I guess I really cant do any OCing huh... even with the stock copper plate + heatpipe cooler...

Maybe this will help...

I actually have a AMD A64 cooler that came with my CPU (below. I am using Thermatake cooler now), but how did you manage to attach the thing to the card? Pins? Screws? Glue? There isn't any place to drill holes........ =(
