Would this vid. card work with my board?

Hello everyone I'm new to the boards and my friend told me that this place isn't a bad place to get info. Well I was thinking of getting an Evga Geforce 6800 non GT/ultra vid. card for my system. I have a pretty old board lol, its a MSI pt880 Neo board. I was wondering if the vid card would work on it?

Oh, by the way I also noticed the XFX vid card is a little cheaper than the EVGA. Which brand would be best?<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by irids on 05/20/05 10:44 PM.</EM></FONT></P>

For the most part, they're all the same with just a different PCB color and/or HSF. So there's really no advantage/disadvantage with either brand.

I'd probably go for the XFX in this case as they make pretty solid cards and it is cheaper.

I've had very good experiences with the eVGA cards so it's your choice.
