Subject pretty much says it all. A friend has a board with two bad PROMs
that need to be replaced. Thanks for any and all help!

Save me for a LAST resort. As me helping will consist of several
things.

1: I have to convince one of my three friends that each have one (no
lie) to let me unsolder chips from they're prized arcade posessions
PCB's and take them with me for a day or two.

2: Whomever actually agreed to let me do it would want compensation as
well as me. And I would just backup ALL prom images for you and future
reference.

Now thats withou actually looking about. They may be available for
download (did you try mame sites?) or another individual may have them.
I know alex yeckley says he'll work on those boards so he may have
them. John Robertson is another name that comes to mind too.

Both they're sites:

www.elektronforge.com
www.flippers.com

Both good guys.

Like I said, if your absolutly stuck like chuck.. let me know. But I
doubt you'll have a problem.

Thanks for the offer, but there is no way I'd make you go through that! I
know that they are out there somewhere, but because Death Race is not
emulated (no CPU) none of the "ROM kiddies" seem to have the images. Thanks
again for your offer!
