Which version of XP Home from Newegg?

Last response: in Windows XP

As you can see, Newegg has two copies of Windows XP Home for $93, one identified as Service Pack SP1 and one as SP1A. Only SP1 says “full version,” which is, of course, what I need. Which should I buy?

Barton 2500+
Abit NF7-S
1GB Corsair XMS
Radeon 9800np
Lite On Combo Drive
Case? PSU? Fans? Monitor?

Either one; it doesn't matter. Both are Home Edition with SP1. The only difference is that SP1a doesn't contain the Microsoft Virtual Machine, and many people are using the Sun Java Plug-in for this purpose.

You can still find Microsoft VM on Kazaa, though...

CompUSA had coupons on their Web site for 30% off Microsoft software. Which means a boxed upgrade version of Home would be $70.
