As you can see, Newegg has two copies of Windows XP Home for $93, one identified as Service Pack SP1 and one as SP1A. Only SP1 says “full version,” which is, of course, what I need. Which should I buy?
Either one; it doesn't matter. Both are Home Edition with SP1. The only difference is that SP1a doesn't contain the Microsoft Virtual Machine, and many people are using the <A HREF="http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp" target="_new">Sun Java Plug-in</A> for this purpose.
