I just finished my Golden Tee 98. What a great game. My only problem is
that I have to go into the settings menu each time I power it up to set
it for free play. After powering it down the board resets to the
default settings. The battery is good, reads a little over 3 volts. Is
there some other setting I need to change or maybe a component? Thanks

Check for your three volts at the RAM chip.If present try changing the RAM.
