Consider yourself warned in the subject line. I have a Geforce 6800 (non Ultra/GT), how do I tell if AGP 8X is enabled?

Thanks,

Brandt

I do not remember if you can see it in the NVIDIA drivers or in DXdiag, but for sure you can check BIOS settings when you computer starts (press F2 or something when it starts)

Check the BIOS when your PC starts it tells you something like "Press DEL to enter setup" or it could be one of the F keys.

Nothing is as easy as it looks

It should also tell you in the advanced driver settings, if memory serves.

Check your BIOS under either advanced chipset features or advanced BIOS features and it should show 4x or 8x. Change it to 8x if you need to.
