The Sims 2 rig!!

My sister has asked me to build her a system. She has asked that it be a great price/performance system, and able to play the sims 2. I know that I will likely get her an A64 3000+ or a 3200+. What I don't know is the video card that I should get her? Having never played the sims 2 I don't know for sure how "high end" the graphics are. Although from what I have heard, they are pretty intense, and would require a decent vid card. If you guys could give me a good suggestion that would be great. Thanks in advance.

nice response... but I am likely just going to get her a GF6600GT. It's probably the best choice for her. Its probably overkill for what she needs it, but no harm in that.

Well you can base your purchase on the Sims 2 basic requirements you can see <A HREF="http://sims2.servopro.com/sysreq.phtml" target="_new">here</A>.

I'd get her an A64 3200+, 1GB PC3200 RAM, 6600GT, 80GB Hard Drive, and a good monitor. You could cut back on graphics card if you want, I bet that the 6600GT might be a little overboard, the CPU might be a little overboard too, but the game will run very fast on that system.
