I got bored and thought I'd look up a few players I usually look for in new
games on CM. If anyone has anyone to add, or I'm wrong about someone, feel
free to tell me (moderate your language Sunhill!)

Cherno Samba - Cadiz
Luke Beckett - on every League 1&2 manager's shopping list
Victor Renner - played for Dover 2004/05
Kim Kallstrom - Rennes
Maxim Tsigalko - Dinamo Minsk (as far as I can tell)
Petr Katchouro - Dinamo Minsk
Dionisis Chiotis - AEK
Antonis Voulgaris - Skoda Xanthi
Stefan Selakovic - Heerenveen

It's the weirdest thing; I couldn't find To Madeira anywhere! :)

Because he is/was not a real pro player. The guy putting together that
particular data update pack sneaked in his *own* profile and made himself into
a mini CM legend.

Do you know if he'll be playing against Rangers on Wednesday?

He's a first team regular, so he should. I forgot that we're playing
against you, maybe because it's in a preseason game halfway across the
world... :-)

Yep I nearly forgot about it too, until I saw it mentioned on the Rangers

The islandic striker Andri Siqorsson or something.. He was great in
earlier days.. Even remember a story about some brasilian guy calling
the club for a pic of him..

Think the last club I saw him at was Molde in Normay..

I was lucky to see him play for Island against Denmark a few years back.. :)

He had, to some Moscow club, I don't remember which one, but never
played for them due to some contract problems. So he moved to Dinamo
Zagreb.

*brings out the lie detector test* Let's try this again..:

- Have you ever phoned the islandic club Kr asking for a picture of
their player Andri Siqórsson ?
- Have you ever signed the mentioned player in any game in any
CM/FM-related game?
- Have you ever stolen Miljenko's socks? (or was it WotS's?)

prolly not, as I hate to sign players I can't pronounce their names :-)

I'm afraid of chemical contamination, would never try it.

He is btw playing in the Icelandic club Grindavik. He apparently had a
foreign adventure in Salzburg before joining Molde.

A pre-season tour in Canada, playing a Canadian League Select team tomorrow

I hope your club did not give him a trial because of the hype he had in CM.

A real player, eh? Well, no more to be seen now. Funny how those CM/FM scouts
predict potential superstars. I remember they rated, for three high profile
examples, Beckham, Owen and even Ronaldo pretty lowly when they first came onto the
scene. Hell, Ronaldo did not even get any real attribute figures entered until the
second season he was at Barca. You can guess how good he was in thos CM games.
