Upgrading a Merit double platinum

My HD failed on my Merit Double platinium. Merit was kind enough to send me
two double platinium CD's so I can swap the hd with a CD ROM. But the CD's
say HARDDRIVE UPGRADE DOUBLE PLATINUM. I am a little confused. Is this a
cd to upgrade a Harddrive or are these cd's used to run the game off of a CD
drive? Either way how do I use these disc's?

You need a HDD from Merit. The CD's are to upgrade a Merit hard drive.
Merit Hdd's have a security circuit built in so a store bought HD wont
work.
