3d mark Problems

Hi, I'm having problems with benchmarking with 3d mark. I've only been using 3d mark 2001 to test my card so far. My card is a Power Color 9800 pro 256, I have a ..sempron..2400 .. w/512 mem and an asus board. I'm scoring around 5800 marks. I THINK this is low but i'm not sure.. Help would be appreciated.. That is low. IIRC I was getting more like 12-14K with a similar setup...

You should get maybe near 5800 in 3dmark 200<b>3</b>, if you ask me.

Have you installed motherboard and graphics drivers?

If your testing your card, run a benchmark in 3DMark05. 01 is a good program, but it puts alot of stress on the whole system. Report back with the results

K i Dwnloaded 05 last nite and told it to benchmark, haven't had a chance to check back on it. I'll post the results l8ter 2nite

Thats actually not horribly bad for the setup you're running.

My old system which was about as fast as yours all around got around 1200.
2005 is a lot harder on current systems than its predecessors

2001 was very picky about video card drivers. The older drivers work better on that program. I gained about 1,000 points switching drivers. I got 12,767 which isn't bad for my system. Check site for full system specs, cause I am too lazy to type it all in. But, I'll put the link to the benchmark.
