The client works the server dosent.

Hi everyone, I have two computers both 1 GHZ. The server has a cable modem running 2000 on it the other is the client running XP. Well this problem has happened oh lets say around 5 times requiring me to reformat each time because I can never find an answer. What happens is the server can do everything on the internet such as Morpheus and Email but when you open up IE or Netscape nothing works. It just sits there or it will open a page and afterwards nothing will work. Now the client however works perfectly find with no slowdowns what so ever. Wierd ! I am running Intel Anypoint Home network through the telephone line. Please help, I am extremely tired of reformating. Thank you for any help that may be given.

Yep, however I fixed the problem. I just uninstalled my virus softwear and then everything worked fine, wierd but it worked. Thank you though
