I am thinking of finally upgrading some of the last parts in my 2 year old system now. It's an Atholon 2200+ with a gig of Ram, Audigy 2 zs Platinum Pro, with 120 gig Hard Drive. My Video card is only a 64 Meg Radeon 9000 Pro. I got in on sale so give me a break :). Anyways. It seems to play all my game perfectly fine. Half life 2, Doom3, CS source, And some others. But it seems to lag a little on Star Wars Galaxies and when watching video thru video card on the TV the picture is a little crappy. So I am thinking of upgrading to a PCI express x700 as I found it at my local frys for $175. The X800 is 300 bucks. But is it really that much of a difference as far as FPS between the 2. I looked at the benchmarks here and I don't really see a BIG difference. Only a few FPS. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ok so I found the x800 I think on this website for like 220. Does this look like a good deal and is this card ok?

$220 is OK for an X800, I've seen them as low as $189 at pricewatch.com.

I don't know which reviews you've been looking at but the X800 is much better than the X700. It has 4 more pipelines and twice the memory interface, I can guarantee you that with antialiassing enabled it'll blow the doors off an X700.

Well I'm still pretty new to the real nitty gritty parts of PC's. I can build my own in the dark. But I just started class for A+ prep so I'm starting to learn the terms of everything. So hence the reason why I am asking alot of questions. :)
