I love how they mention that Crossfire's master card will cost more (so far about $50), and say that's an issue, yet they ignore the ~$50 SLi Tax they impose on people. sO that seems like alot of baloney.

And so the X850 gets dumbed down to an X800, whereas with SLi you GT would sit outside your case in the box while the Ultra got lonely.

BTW, what are these 3 games that are older than 2 years they keep talking about? The results I've seen sofar have been for D3, HL2, UT2K4 and 3Dmk05, only one of which is older than a year, and none of which are older than 2!

I also laughed at their 'paper launch' mention, since it was many months after SLi was first demoed that it finally arrived, and are they saying that we'll be able to buy G70s as of June 21, otherwise that's a paper launch too, regarldless of whether it a mont later or 4 months later that they deliver actual product.

This is beyond words. I've seen stupid PR, but this is just bottom of the barrel stupid. Seriously, there is no professionalism either, using expressions like "That is pathetic". No actual logical arguments either, nor real facts, which means they are LYING, not spinning!

I don't see why this is a big deal. Nvidia wants people to buy their product instead of ATI. Doesn't really matter what ATI or Nvidia say we'll have to wait until products are out.

Hey, quite a history of this PDF being discussed at the <A HREF="http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23682&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0" target="_new">B3D forums</A>. Seems hidden comments were found in it tracing it to an ATI spokeswoman. Great read!

If that was actually written by an NVidia employee, then that might be the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. If it was NV, then they really are just pathetic. I mean really really pathetic. Utterly pathetic.

NV needs to grow up, that PDF goes way too far. It really seems like it was written by some pathetic NV fanboy and not by a paid employee. Reminded me of a forum post rather than PR written by a multimillion dollar company.

Yeah I saw that and yesterday at work did the cut and paste into wordpad. It's hard to see what the comments relate to until you open them side by side.

I think as has been mentioned/suggested that this is an internal talking point memo to prepare either nV or ATi people to discuss this. Either that or just a plain fake. Either way I don't think it was ever intended for even IHVs or OEM-Partners.

I had read it from the EB discussion. The whole thing is funny, but even funnier is the nVnews take on the whole thing. Regardless of fake or not they are trying to defend the nV points, which just looks pathetic.

Funny thing about AA, look at the 'ATi' logo in the PDF, wow a heck of ALOT of aliasing there!

Really B3D is full of insiders (best place on the web for that IMO) so I'm not surprised she was reading it, but that she responded an in any way mentioned her affiliation is the 'silly' thing.

Even as a fake it's gotten more movement in the major forums than even the crossfire launch itself.
