I have a Dell Dimension 8400 system running Windows XP SP2 which I have connected to a ViewSonic P225f CRT monitor. The system came with a Radeon X300-based graphics card, which I would like to run at 1400x1050 (1600x1200 is a bit too small for me). Unfortunately, this mode is not listed under "List All Modes."

Is there a way to get the X300 to run at 1400x1050? Alternatively, is there a modern graphics card that supports this resolution?

Thanks...

Andy

1360x1024 is available if you list modes not specifically supported by your monitor.

There should be a way to do custom resolutions in the Ati driver, ask around at the rage3d.com forums.
