Upgrade from 9800PRO to ?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade in the near future and i was wondering what would be the best card to buy to replace my 9800PRO. At the moment the card can play most games easily, apart from fs2004 +alot of add ons, scenery etc so the fps are starting to suffer, only 7-10 fps with AA on.

I would like to stay with ati. systems specs are:

P4 2.8GHZ HT 800FSB
GIGABYTE 865PE
1GB RAM DDR 3200 (SINGLE CHANNEL)

I'm willing to spend about £200 - £230. thanks

check ebay you can find good deals there, i got my 9800pro and a super silent "artic cool" fan together for only £50

yes i know he has a 9800 pro im just highlighting the fact that you can get a good deal. Common £50 for 9800pro 128 and a "Silent fan" included is a good deal, also 9800pro 128 shold be usuallable for 1 to 1.5 and maby 2 years.

we all have different demands, i am not really a graphics man i take more interest in the actuall game, as long as the game has a good frame rate and looks ok im good. The real gamer style!

ok ok, but one thing why do you get sadder, you spent about £200 on it LOL, only jocking mate, however the 9800pro has at least a year left now, as long as it plays AOE 3 ill be happy

£50 for a 9800pro lol i bought mine for £180 a year ago, ah well.
rx8 i ain't buying just yet anyway, gonna overclock the hell out my 9800pro and see how long it lasts lol. i am sad.
