$750 gaming laptop

To start off i already have a desktop for higher graphical quality. I need something for when i go to a friends or other places and i can obtain mid to high settings at a decent framerate my only issue with the acer is that it is a 17.3" and is 17" really that much of a size sifference? also will the i7 actually make a difference in games like, shogun 2, bf3, arma 2, and red orchestra 2?

I know you have specifically mentioned $750 and in fact two specific laptops from Newegg, but I want to see if I can wiggle in some ideas. Wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday if you can. Also, maybe you could be flexible with the price $50-100. I think Lenovo has a very good laptop in the Y580.
