    or

    Asus ASUS K55A-BI5093B Laptop Computer - 3rd generation Intel Core i5-3210M 2.5GHz, 4GB DDR3, 500GB HDD, DVDRW, 15.6" Display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3924783&csid=_61

    $499
  2. Unless the additional $20 is worth it for the extra 1.6 inches of screen space and bigger overall dimensions, I would get the Samsung.

The specs are almost identical, but small things struck me as the Samsung being the better choice. not only is it cheaper, but it's smaller and lighter, so it'll be easier to tote around and all it's USB ports are USB 3.0.
  3. Just letting everyone know if you are interested in an Asus:

    www.1saleaday.com

has a pretty good deal right now
  4. What size of laptop generally has a full (bigger) size keyboard for the letter and function keys?

    a 15.6" display with a number keypad

    or

a 14" display with no number pad?
