There was an arcade on Cortez Rd. in a strip mall near the main road
heading downtown (14th ave?) that I used to hang out at in the late
80s. They had an environmental Discs of Tron and a sitdown Race Drivin'
(those are the only two I remember). Man, did I spend a ton of cash on
that DOT. I'm just curious as to whether you remember the name of that
place, and how long it was actually there (and if it's still even
there). The only other nearby businesses I remember were a 50s style
restaurant called Graffiti's, and a Clock restaurant.

Thanks!
Brian

Sorry Brian I don't know the answer.

I'm originally from the East Coast of Florida. I "grew up" playing
videos/pins in the old (now demolished) Castle Park.

I also played at Nathan's (Sunrise Blvd.) and Malibu Grand Prix which
the latter is still there.

I would like to find some old photos of Castle Park but haven't looked
into it yet.

Are you a local collector?

Ahh ok.

No. I lived in Bradenton from spring '89 to summer '91. I now live in
Michigan.

Thanks for the reply.

Brian,
You're killin' me!

Now it gets interesting.

I've lived in Florida my entire life. HOWEVER, I spent the last 3 1/2
years in Lansing, Michigan. OUCH!

Now I'm back in FL for good. I just sit outside and sweat my a*# of
all day trying to forget all that cold weather I endured..

The FL market is 2X better than MI. Although I do admit the past 4/5
months in the NE has had quite a run. Lots and lots of deals in the
NE/Midwest area lately,
