Hi,

I am confused as to which one should I buy ?
the Toshiba Qosmio x870 which has a 3gb GTX 670m and with the 8gigs of ram it sums up to 1100( windows 8 version) .. Or the Asus 17" (not FHD) .. Lenovo has everything for just under 1000.. So is the 670+W8 worth the extra bucks or the 17" of the ASUS .. help me choose .

How much is a few extra. Sager has a gtx 675m the np9170 for 1300, the msi gt70 202 is 1400. I like lenovo as a budget option but I have not been impressed with the case. I work with lenovo laptops I have not used the Y580. If you can afford the 1400 or 1300 then go with a sager but msi or ibuypowers halloween special gaming pc . I'd upgrade to 1600Mhz ram and a 750GB HD. That machine comes out to 1289+shipping.

1. do you mean can't afford more...

2. There will be deals around Thanksgiving. Lenovo is always on sale. The amount is what changes I have never seen the y580 over the past 2 months for more then 1200 and usually around 1000 these are models with 1080 screens.

3. Since you have waited I would wait a little more, the price will not go up and since it sounds like you don't need it now I would wait.

The Toshiba is a horrible price. Bad screens, not even FHD matte. Their RAM upgrades ARE OVERPRICED and their hard drives are slow and terrible! They don't even offer 7200 RPM.

The Asus is a very well known brand.

Personally you should look into an MSI GE60/70 or even better MSI GX60 ($1199 with free shipping on many websites)

If you want backlit keyboard (thousands of collar combinations - then get a GT60/GT70 from MSI) Will cost ya $1200+ but totally worth it

take a look of acer aspire v3-771g series: they do have at most gt650m graphic, but it is enough for moderate gaming, and FHD mat screen and are very upgadeable /ram, another SSD) for a price around 1000+$...
