For sale, Old, Fido branded Nokia 2190.

The original phone Fido sold when it started operations circa 1997. This
one has a cracked window but still works. (Fido also had a few Nortel
and Ericcson handsets during this period, but no Motorolas since Moto
didn't do GSM-1900 at that time).

Since this is a museum piece, especially with the logo of an operator
soon to cease to exist, I am asking only $5000 for it. I think it is
unlocked, but not sure. New cover to replace the cracked window
probably not available anymore.

(The window was cracked in 1998 when I slid while running for the bus
during the ice storm :-)

This phone has no GPRS capabilities. It is big, unsexy. But it does have
a big usable keyboard, compared to today's phones that require
watchmaker tools to press the minuscule keys :-)

I thought it was pretty obvious. I always wonder why people bother
trying to sell old handsets.

I've got a 2190 without the cracked screen, but it's locked to
Fido. Maybe I should sell it?? ;)
