Hello!

I just pulled my games out of storage, and Defender is doing something
weird. When you first turn it on, you get a millisecond of the startup
sound, and then it goes quiet.

I ran through the RAM/ROM tests, and the test says everything is okay.

I next did the sound check, and none of the 31 sounds make any noise.

When I hit that black push button switch on the sound board, it makes that
repeat test sound over and over, but no regular game sounds. That told me
the speaker was not cutting out - so it is not the speaker. That's all I
know!

Any ideas/answers?

Thank you!

The ram/rom test doesn't check anything on the sound board.

The only test for the sound board is that switch which doesn't really
test anything.
