Rebuilding for Battlefield 2. I purchase a Athlon64 3000+, 1gig 3200 ddr. I got an Abit nf8-v board cause I was going to buy an agp card, but pci-express is an option. I was researching ati 9800pro, 9600xt or if I got Pci-e a x700pro. I am looking to spend around the $200 mark.

That one is good for you since you'd rip that dinky heatsink off in a few seconds of opening the package. But for $6 more, the powercolor has the larger X800XL heatsink.

Unless you're stuck on ATI I'd suggest a NEW 6600GT. You can get a EVGA AGP for $144 at newegg.

Re-reading here, it sounds like you already bought a NF3 mobo, so PCI-e is not an option, only AGP. That paints a different picture. In AGP, X850XTpe ($399), X850XT ($350 After Rebate(AR)), AIW X800XT ($330 AR) GF6800GT($259), GF6800($155), GF6600GT($117 AR) or R9800 pro($105) would be your best options (best performer to worst, prices are best I have recently seen online in USA). On the bargain side, you can also buy a refurb HIS IceQ 9800 pro for about the same price as a new Sapphire. So if $200 is you limit, it's 9800 pro, GF6600GT, or GF6800.
