When choosing a graphics card, what’s the most important features I should look for? What’s the best and reliable manufacture to look at when purchasing. If you know of a particular item I should consider, please don’t hesitate to recommend it. What's a good graphic card for about $200?

I am trying to build a computer within the next two weeks, so any help will be welcome.

Thank you

Ron

I like these cards 6800's. Maybe someone will post a second opinion. I don't really think brand will matter. Some brands offer better coolers. BFG offers their cards OC'd out of the box.

I am looking for a PCI Express card.

Which is a better card: ATI PCI-E Radeon X600 128MB
or the Radeon X800 128MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16?

The X800 is better by far. Don't even think about an X600. Nothing touches the X800 128MB for $150-$160. The GF6600GT is slower but would be a bargain if found for say $30+ cheaper. But current online pricing puts the X800 128MB as the card to get if a X800XL is out of reach.
