I've never had any MSI laptops are they good?

I've had 2 or 3 MSI motherboard about 10 years ago and they were all crap :/

I'm just worried about the brand and also which online store would you buy it from?

The first one is much better than the other.

It has a better GPU, but the CPU is slightly worse.

I would suggest getting the first, because even if you were to video edit with the other one, the ram would be holding you back as it only has 8gb. The first one has 12 gb, which is more suitable for video editing.

If you record videos and such, just keep in mind that the first one has less HDD space, but a faster speed. Second one has 1 tb, but a slower speed.

IMO, I would definitely get the first :)

Honestly check out the reviews for each laptop and try to find out any inherent problems with each laptop. Best way to decide which laptop to choose doesn't matter if its got great parts if the thing has heat, battery or other issues.

Also I would recommend the first laptop just by the hardware.

As for the website just buy it from makers site that would be the easiest.
