Asus Laptop UX31A - Can't Wake with USB Mouse or Keyboard

So I was having a problem waking my laptop from sleep with a USB mouse or keyboard. Know where the settings are to do this (in device manager-keyboards-power save tab) but when I would check "allow device to wake computer from sleep" it would check, I would hit ok, then after about 10 seconds I would look again and it automatically unchecked!

Well this pissed me off to no end and I couldn't find any information about it. I even contacted ASUS which told me to upgrade a driver (which I did) then the BIOS (which I did) then finally restore my windows installation (which I didn't want to do but did anyway). But no luck!

So after trying out a bunch of other things I found the solution. ASUS installs a program called InstantOn which I guess extends battery power while sleeping. I removed this program and my issue was fixed. Just wanted to post here for others if they have this same problem.
