This is a weird problem indeed. On the network for the comapny i work
for. Any time a certain folder is mapped, regardless of the drive
letter, you get an error message when trying to open it through my
computer. Yet you can get into it by right clicking on it and hitting
open. Or browsing through explorer works great too. It is only XP
machines, the 2000 machines have no problems mapping it and its only
through my computer on XP machines. It also sends back different
errors on different XP machines. One persons computer, popped back an
error saying there was no media in the drive or something making it
act like a empty cdrom. Yet right click and hit open, and it does,
and there is all the stuff on that drive. Another persons computer
gave this error message.
http://www.quantumchaostheory.com/ [...] fdrive.jpg I can find anything online about this problem on google or yahoo.
Again, it is only a mapping to a specific folder and only in XP. All
other mappings folders are perfect no problems.
