a freind of mine at berkley said he talked to some one working on seti there and they ran out of data to send people several months ago so they are just sending out old data to work on.
They've resent the data yes, that's for sure. It's to check for consistency and errors. They are also double checking (re-observing 3 times and re-computing) all signal candidates.
Soon they will switch over to the southern hemisphere station in Aussieland.

Hey Silverpig, what's up with SETI? I've gotten many busy signals over the past few weeks to the point where I've shut down all my SETI machines and turned to UD. This morning I tried to view the stats for THG and couldn't get through on the Berkley site. Are they changing things or just having bandwidth difficulties?

Recent web server glitches (slow response times, broken message boards, etc.) have been fixed.
I use seti driver to keep a 5 WU cache (~20 hrs worth of processing). I hadn't noticed any stats problems as setispy works just fine, although just trying to bring up the page now resulted in an error. Nothing major though.
