HKEPC manages to do a few ground-breaking things with the new ULi AP9567A;

You may have seen this done elsewhere, but still interesting, PCIe+AGP+PCI;

Ok, just about all barriers have examined with that review, and kinda answers HB and the other AGP afficionado's dreams/wishlist.

Sure AGP + PCIe isn't quite that performing, but it's more for the technical aspect.

Now if we could only get our hands on this stuff!

That's OK, I have the board, been using it for a month, and still don't have any PCI-Express cards I can use for benchmarking.

LOL, now that's an irony, a tragedy, a comedy and outrage (cheap ba$$turdz in front office! ).

Did you buy it or were you given it to study?

I always found it a very interesting board, but the retail features were never fully described (hey as long as it has 4 or more SATA + 2 set of ATA/EIDE and good memory spacing I'm good).

Now we just have to get you that riser so you can run 2 X300SE in Crossfire, we'll start a bottle drive maybe .

I don't know man, you should ask Crash where he got his. I know it's not easily found up here, but I haven't checked US distribution yet, maybe that's something to do today during the down time, other than play Sega's ESPN NHL2K5 (not gonna play EA, are you NUTZ!?! ).

It's an interesting board, I really would prefer something with an additional PCIe slot for multimonitor, but that AGP makes up for it, and would make benchmarking interesting.

I got it for an article I'm doing on another site. Unfortunately I couldn't get the proper hardware to make the article perfect. If nothing else happens soon, I'll put the article up at that site with fewer benchmarks.

That rots dude! I hate when you want to get/do something and you're missing the one semi-crucial part that just makes you wait. I've been feeling that at times all summer.

Finally when August comes I'm pulling the trigger regardless, I just hope I'm not in the same boat as you and feel like I've gotta do a half measure when I was ready for it all.

Zero issues with any AGP or PCI card I've tested so far, and other sites would have noticed PCI-Express issues. Remember that ULi is just the new name for ALi's chipset branch, and that ALi has always had some of the best card compatability. Memory controller issues ruined ALi's reputation before, but the AMD on-die memory controller has circumvented ALi's former problems.

As for retail board, expect them in about two weeks.
