I have a USB ADSL modem. The driver CD didn't have win 7 64 bit drivers. (i'm using win 7 64 bit & XP both). Anyway i tried to install 32 bit drivers to wiin 7 64 bit & tried many ways. Now, Device manager don't show my modem. It shows "GloblSpan" catogary & modem gone to it. Now i download 64 bit drivers from modem's website. But i can't install it because Modem gone to catogary named GloblSpan in device manager. How to undo it?

Solution
32bit drivers won't work on a 64bit OS. You will need to remove/uninstall the device completely, and then try again with the new driver.
