Also there are pics of the card too. Looks like its going to be pretty bad ass card for $400 dollars.

With the R520 woes it will be interesting to see if the prices actually stay around that level or are jacked up...as usual.

Sweet performance for the price. The 6800Us should start coming down in price soon....

NICE MY DREAM COMES TRUE!! They dropped the MSRP to 399, this is very smart on part of NVidia, they saw the success they had with the 6800GT priced at 399, now they are using the same general strategy, break people's wallet with a good performing, expensive card, so when ATI's competition comes along, most non-fanboys will just say meh.

I can't wait for this card to come out. It looks like it will be at the sweet spot for price performance ratio. This should also drive down some of the prices of the other cards also. It would be nice if the R520 was coming out soon so the competition factor could play a role in price wars. Plus I just want to see how it performs. The other good thing about this launch is they will have 7800Gt's in stock the day its released just the GTX's which was a good move on NVIDIA’s part. Hopefully ATI does the same.

It is a 9550...what else do you need to say. That GPU didn't need more than 128MB memory...64mb may have even been sufficient.

TBird 1.0GHz and PC100 = KT133!? Possibly not, BUT If so, just getting a score in 3dMark03 with that system and Win ME is a great score. He will be liking his new A64 7800GT Win Xp machine when he upgrades.

Damn that's a great move by Nvidia to release it at that price. Those babies are going to sell like crazy. Nvidia is putting alot more pressure on ATI with this card. Will it come in AGP at launch is something I'd like to know.

Man that sucks, I know they said no AGP for the GTX but they should for the GT. I think there will be enough demand that they do it.

But there won't be a high enough demand, think about it, to convert the card to AGP, they'll need the HSI bridge, which cost about 5US dollars, but when they sell it, it'll carry a 50USD price premium, a new decent PCI-Express board starts at 80US dollars.

Considering the Firepower the 7800s deliver, the pricetags on them is not bad at all! Im actually getting a BFG 7800GTX this week.
