Hey guys, another post concerning upgrading my computer.
Specs are:
250 Watt PSU
P4 1.5 Ghz 256 kb cache
512 Rambus PC-800 (twin 256's)
Nvidia GeForce 2 MMX 32 mb
CD drive
sound card

From my last post, I have decided to choose the 9500 pro over the GeForce four.
Also, I have a question concerning if i should the 9500 pro or 9600/9600 pro/xt and what are the prices?

I have a Dell Dimension 8100. The power supply is 250Watt on full load i think. So any body know if a 250 watt is enough?
I can't upgrade cz my dell has the dell custom cables.

Your best bet is a 9600XT as they are cheaper, much easier to find, and perform about the same as a 9500 pro. The 9500 pro performs better most of the time, but the difference is insignificant. $85 for 9600XT and $100 for 9500 pro

I was actually going to ask a similar question in this same forum.. so I am not quite sure. I would guess that it is though. Someone else should answer this ;)

Or the 9800 Pro for $96 - PSU is definitely not good enough for this card...

I have a refurb Sapphire 9800 Pro from Newegg in my current rig. Been running great for more than 8 months. It didn't have a driver CD or extra cables when I got it, but the card itself has been awesome.
