I don't think much of the blame can be put on Strachan. The Celtic
board and their "biscuit tin" budget are mostly to blame, not
investing in the team after their moment of 'glory' in Seville, Then
Martin O'Neill allowed the team to grow old and has renewed the
contracts of too many 30+ players. Lastly, the players are the ones
who go onto the park and should easily have beaten a bunch of farmers,
fishermen and painters who made up the Slovakian pub team they were up
against.

Sympathies and national pride aside, this season picked up where the
last one ended with Rangers fans everywhere splitting their sides with
laughter :-)
