X700 vs X700 pro?

Hiya, complete newbie to computers here.

I've been looking around at video cards, and I've noticed in one case where a saphhire Radeon x700 256mb retails for the exact same cost of Radeon x700 Pro 128mb.

So what exactly differs the two anyhow? Is one worth getting over the other, or is it just sementics and whatnot?

The answer to your question is, the X700pro is faster than the X700 256mb in every application/games. You should consider the X800 video card, it's as low as 150 dollars, and it'll beat both of the cards you've mentioned easy.
