cs scout crosshair

I see in some cs videos that when they use the scout in non scoped mode they still have crosshairs? how is this? how do i cofigure cs to let me see crosshairs??

you are either seeing an old version of CS in the demo, or they are using a hack to get a non-zoomed crosshair...or i guess it could be a glitch in the demo you saw, which are very common in HL demos

I havent seen that, but it might be a console command. Or another versin

I agree that it may be a hack, considering how much easier it would make close combat with the scout.

I thought they may have changed the weapon_scout.txt file or something but i couldnt figure out how they would do that.

If it was a demo you were watching, then i'm 90% sure it was probably just a demo bug. I think demos show all guns, even sniper rifles with a crosshairs, not to mention demos are really buggy in playback.
