Sony SB 1.8" msata upgrade Tags: Laptops Sony Crucial eddiechum November 5, 2012 5:28:17 PM I would like to know if anyone has tried upgrading their SONY SB laptop SSD drive. Mine came with an 1.8" msata 128GB SSD and am a little confused in that I notice that the Crucial M4 256GB msata drive has a flat SATA connector, the one on my laptop looks like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Micro_SATA_labeled_pi... but the crucial M4 has a connector like so: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspecs.aspx?IMODULE=.... Is the Crucial M4 compatible even though the connector lacks the notches? Or has anyone managed to source the correct 2.5" drive caddy and SATA ribbon for the SB laptop?
