When people do their 3dmark05 tests, do they have the settings in their gpu's settings (settings\advanced\gpu card) what do they have them at? Is it just the default settings the card comes with? For instance, mine (BFG 7800GTX) has perfomance at one under the highest quality setting. Also the AA and AF are off and are application controlled. How does THG do it?

I pretend to know what I'm talking about.

Both. Most of us here probably keep it at deafults(quality) for comparison sake of how you'll be playing your games. But if going for a record, then you'll get a few more points if you slide it down to the performance/looks like mud setting.

I get the feeling that your looking at your scores compared to others in the ORB. Most scores in the ORB are competitive scores. We max our cards out for performance not quality. If your wanting to be competitive then your not so concerned with how good the images are. If your a gamer and could care less about having the biggest E-Penis then stop comparing your scores in the ORB :)
