Unread Message Count/Welcome Screen - doesn't work for me.

We are running Windows XP/Home. We are using two user IDs, mine and my
wife's. On the Welcome Screen under her name it will show how many unread
messages she has, no problem here. Under my icon unread messages fails to
display. I've tried using Tweak UI. The problem is in the registry. On my
wife's side under Hkey Current
User/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Unread Mail (her email
address) I find the following 4 entries; Default, Application, MessageCount
& TimeStamp. On my side of the registry under Unread Mail I had to enter two
keys, my two email addresses. Clicking on either email address there is
only Default. I need to know how to re-enter the missing keys in order to
get this function working. On my wife's side of the registry when I right
click on either Unread Mail or her email address then click on Permission I
get what appears to be normal stuff, like computer name and System etc.
There is one peculiar entry with an icon to the left of it, a question mark,
the entry is a very long number in this format;
S-0-0-00-0000000000-0000000000-0000 (not the actual number). After backing
up the registry it took some doing to delete this entry (thinking it was
junk due to the ? icon), once deleted it erased the other 3 lines. I
restored the registry with no problem. In reading various help sites they
mention an entry "MessageCountExpirary" or something close to this. This
key is not found on my wife's side but her count on the welcome screen works
fine. A few weeks ago I duplicated all of her keys to my side with no luck.
I think the problem might have been the binary code under TimeStamp. Any
help will be appreciated. Feel free to email me directly at
