6600 gt or a 6600 256

i was wondering which is better a regular non gt 6600 with 256 mb ddr or a 6600gt with 128 gddr3

The GT, at this time 256mb memory is an unessesary expense and you will get more benefit from the faster memory and clock in the GT.

Although the 256Mb would be nice (Especially on newer games) the higher clocks of the GT will result in more FPS regardless.
