the only real problem with the Y580 is the outer lid which is a bit soft and susceptible to pressure.
The GE60 has similar problem, although it might be better. However, the GE60 has problems with the screen hinges, and some instabilities in the bottom parts which cannot be said about the Y580.
The Y580 also include more aluminum.
talking about lifetime - I don't know. it depends on the inner parts too. The cooling systems are on par, I think. you should use cooling pad with both.
The MSI GE60 is cheaper and includes a matte screen, compared to the glossy one on the Y580 (which you can replace manually, if you want, but that requires skill and time and some risk).
The Lenovo on the other hand should be faster, has a backlit keyboard and a blu-ray player
Actually the Lenovo WILL be faster, better CPU, GPU, more RAM, etc... Just take care of the thing to the best of your abilities and it will last you a long time. Its hardly worth it to spend the same amount for less because someone "thinks" it might be a bit better build quality.
