If I press delete to enter bios it will enter bios after about 4 mins - if I press boot menu (F8) it will go to boot menu after about 6 mins. This gets boring but if I select the boot drive it will then boot up into windows. Motherboard P5N-E SLI ACPI Bios 0703 I could of course paste the whole of system info but i will spare you all that!

any ideas?

You gave us a lot of info, but i don't know how pertinent it is.
Please tell us if this is a new issue, new build. Tell us if a new build did you use any old drives? What kind of drives and how many?

Sounds like a hardware issue of some kind, I suspect it may be hard drive related.
Please list all the hardware attached to the system. Knowing what time zone your in prolly won't help us much.
